Andrea C. Urban (nee Mednansky) age 78 of Steger, Illinois passed away on June 16, 2021.   Loving wife to the late Leon ‘Rusty’ (2012); beloved mother to Juanita Dilbeck and Russell (Tonya) Urban.  Beautiful grandmother to 7; great grandmother to 8.  Cherished sister to Victor (Kristine) Mednansky.

Allison 'Ali' Kramer

We mournfully announce the passing of Allison Kramer of Crete, Illinois. Our beloved Ali passed away on June 9th, 2021.  Born to Brian and Mary Kramer, Ali took her first breath on August 4th, 1987. Ali graduated from Crete-Monee High School in 2005 and Regency Beauty Institute in 2012. Ali was a talented makeup enthusiast and always looked her best. She had an in-your-face attitude, an unapologetic sense of humor, and wrote with a quick, clever wit. Her greatest pride was her daughter, whom she loved more than anything else in the world. 

She is survived by her parents, Brian and Mary Kramer; daughter, Charli Lyon (Matthew Lyon);sister, Kathryn (Daniel) Benefield; nephews, James and Samuel Benefield, and niece Sophia Benefield. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Pisinski; & Joseph and Marion Kramer. 

A ceremony of life will be held Sunday, June 27th, 2021, at the Crete Funeral Home,1182 Main St, Crete, IL. Visitation from 12-3, with a prayer held at 3 PM.

It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that the family of Daniel N. Wootten, 80, of Chicago Heights, announces his passing into Eternal Life due to ongoing health problems. Dan was born on March 12, 1941 in Chicago Heights and was a life-long resident.  Dan is survived by his most loving wife of 55 years April J. (nee Zelia) Wootten; 2 daughters Viann P. Wootten and Rose (Mario) David; a grandson John D. Wootten; step-granddaughters Alisa, Mariana and Kaylee David, Angel Duda, Roxan (Jason) Hamman, London (Robert) McCarthy; several great grandchildren; many loving relatives and wonderful friends.  Dan is preceded in death by his infant daughter Dana Marie Wootten, his parents John and Mary (nee Gasbarro) Wootten; his sister and brother in law Patricia (David) Eskridge; 2 son in laws Christopher J. Stiny and Peter J. Blast.  Dan had been a Lieutenant on the Chicago Heights Fire Department for 22 years.  He then worked for the courts at Markham Courthouse until his retirement.  He is a veteran of the United State Air Force and was Military Police with the 20th & 81st TAC Fighter Wings from 1961 – 1964, stationed in England.  Dan was a loving husband, amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and all around good guy.  Dan had the most amazing sense of humor.  He was warm, caring, and always full of life.  Dan will be greatly missed by all who had the joy of knowing him. May he Rest in Peace.

Beloved husband to the late Kathleen (nee Schwarz) 2016.  Loving father of Brenda (Terry) Ooms, Shelly (Howard) White, Lisa (Mike) Wydra, Rachael (Robert) Phillippe and Donald (Michelle) Kosmin.. Cherished grandfather of 14 and Great grandfather of 8.  Dear brother of the late Harold (late Nancy) Vierk.  Dick was a Master Mason and life member of the Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M., and served proudly in the U.S. Army.
