MaryAnn Sikorski (nee Gavel) born on June 2, 1934,age 86 of Steger formerly of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on January 22, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond (2013). Loving sister to the late Walter (Audrey) Gavel and late John (Joanne) Gavel.  Beautiful aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Mary (nee Skalski) Gavel.  MaryAnn was a member of the former St. Joseph Church in Chicago Heights, former Polish American Club, St. Joseph Lady’s Rosary Sodality and of St. Liborius Church.   MaryAnn was a homemaker, loved to take long walks everywhere, go to craft shows, go to fairs to watch the horses, gardening, and enjoyed going out for pizza and ice cream.  Her passion was spending time with family and friends.

Raymond W. Spych age 77. A lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on January 23, 2021.  Beloved husband of 56 years to Barbara (nee Budzik); loving father to Kimberly (Michael) Dutczak.  Grandfather to Michael (Sarah), Matthew and Mitchell Dutczak.  Cherished brother to Patricia (Steve) Colson.  Uncle to 2 nieces and 1 nephew.  Ray was employed at John Maier & Company Sheet Metal for his entire career as a union worker, where he retired in 2003; he proudly received his 50-year pin from Local #73 in 2019.  Ray was a member of the Good Sam Club where he enjoyed many years of camping. He was also a Florida snowbird for many years and settled in Riverside RV Park in Arcadia, Florida.  Ray and Barb were longtime members of St. Kieran Catholic Church where he ushered for many years and was a member with The Knights of Columbus. They were previously longtime members of St. Joseph Parish of Chicago Heights. Ray was an active member of Polish Falcons Nest 42 and the Polish American Community Fair.

Victoria Ramirez age 96, lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, and retired Assembly Worker of Gould National Battery, Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. Ms. Ramirez was born March 9th, 1924, in Pharr, Texas. Victoria Ramirez was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague prayer group in Flossmoor, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Joseph ‘Rams’ Ramirez, 1992, of Chicago Heights, IL and Peter Ramirez, 2013, of Chicago Ridge, IL. Loving mother to Mary H. Heredia, Elvira M. Morales (Carlos Morales), Roman L. Garcia, Victoria M. Hansen, and John L. Garcia. Beloved grandmother of 9; great-grandmother of 21. Devoted aunt to Peter Ramirez Jr (Lori Ramirez); godmother and friend to many.
